Configure system for automatic torrent downloads

There are hundreds of tutorials spreading all over the internet to perform the similar task but they require you to keep the modem in “Always ON” state.
The problem which I used to face by keeping the modem in “Always ON” state was that almost 50-100 Mb of bandwidth was consumed everyday even if the system was Hibernated. You guys also check out whether this happens to you also.
What makes this tutorial unique is that you dont need to put your modem in “Always ON” state thereby eliminating hidden bandwidth usage.
